This plant is cousins with Anubias, Bucephalanra and other Aroids but rarer in cultivation. It's a very hardy plant originally from Borneo where it is found growing in wet shaded area near river banks. The leaves are thick and feel a bit leathery and they are usually a dark shade of green on top contasted by a lighter shade on the underside. The plants stay compact in size and can tolerate a wide range of conditions.
